I'm Eduardo — a product engineer. I don't just write code: I take a business problem and ship the whole thing — design it, build it, deploy it, secure it, even market it. Most engineers go deep on one slice; my edge is owning the full span. Based in Santiago, Chile, building since FrontPage 95, with PHP as my mother tongue, then Python/Django, and Next.js on top today.

What I actually am

Not a specialist — a generalist who ships. Someone who takes an idea to production and keeps it running: backend, frontend, infra, security, and the business logic underneath. In a world where AI writes more of the code, the scarce part is knowing what to build and telling when it's right. That's the part I bring.

What I build

My main work is CPA25, the platform that runs a real-estate brokerage in Santiago — leases, contracts, billing, settlements, audits, email marketing. It's the 5th rewrite of a system that started in Google Sheets and PHP; today it runs on Next.js + Supabase, and I develop it with 6 Claude Code agents in parallel (security, testing, features), each in its own git worktree.

Infra & security, not just apps

I run my own hardened infrastructure — a self-hosted VPS serving a ~20,000-property real-estate portal, every container sandboxed with gVisor, hardened SSH, automated backups. This is what they now call DevSecOps; I learned it managing real machines on Debian since 2004. The command line is my home turf — I move faster in bash and ssh than in any IDE. Security isn't a checkbox I bolt on at the end — it's how I build.

Business, not just code

Before code I did a bit of everything: imported products from China, ran an e-commerce doing 3-5M CLP/month, and grew an SEO blog to $1,000 USD/month back when link building actually worked. I read a product as a business, not just a repo — I care whether it makes money or saves time, not only whether the code is clean.

Ship-with: Next.js, Astro, Tailwind, Supabase — tools I wield to deliver, AI at my side.

Infra: Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Docker + gVisor, nginx, DNS, deploys — self-hosted and hardened.
